Tiziano Chianti and Pinot Grigio
Our Brands
In existence since before the age of the Roman civilization, and officially defined since 1716 as the geographical area nestled between Florence and Siena, Italy’s Chianti Classico region is filled with countless award-winning wineries. For centuries they have produced the renowned Sangiovese-based red wine, and Tiziano is proud to be a part of that tradition.
Tiziano Chianti is made from 95% Sangiovese and 5% Caniolo grapes. This wine is produced from fruit selected from some of the finest hillside vineyards available in Chianti. It is vinified under temperature-controlled conditions and aged in traditional cellars. This is a harmonious wine with the berry and violet scent of the Sangiovese and the soft, smooth texture that the Caniolo brings. Tiziano Chianti is a versatile wine that will go well with pasta and red sauce, yet has enough body and character to accompany grilled meat dishes.
Tiziano Chianti Classico is made from 95% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. It is aged in barriques of French oak for 12 months and in bottle for an additional period. Intense ruby-red in color, the wine has a spicy bouquet with hints of underbrush and scents of violets. The flavor is full and velvety. It best accompanies game and roasted or grilled meats.
The Tiziano Chianti Riserva. The “Riserva” designation signifies that a Chianti is of a good vintage and has been aged for at least three years, making it among the finest wines in Italy. Our Chianti Riserva is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. The color is intense ruby-red with livelier shades, and it has a sweet, full, fruity aroma with light elegant notes of spice. The flavor is smooth and lingering with a fruit finish. It best accompanies rich first courses, grilled meats and medium matured cheeses.
Lovers of fine Italian wines have come to know and trust Tiziano over the years for producing red wines of the highest quality, and our wines have received numerous acclaims by the most respected win writers and publications. It is with this same dedication to over-delivering on quality that we are proud to announce the launch of the first white wine that we consider good enough to earn the Tiziano trademark.
