Director, Information Technology NA


Position Overview

The IT Director will provide leadership of the Regions Information Systems needs to enable the Company to meet its business objectives. The role is responsible for the execution of the company's global IS Strategy within the US. This will include hands-on delivery of the company's new ERP system into the US business. The role is also responsible for the proactive development and management of an IT Demand Plan in conjunction with business leaders that identifies and prioritizes demand for IT solutions to support the changing needs of the business. The IT Director will report to the CFO and will play an active part in the global IS organization, working with the Global IS Director to ensure the requirements of the North America are fully represented and accounted for in the development of the global IS strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Specific activities within this position include:

  • • Working with colleagues in the business and global IS to implement a new ERP system across the US and ensuring the business process changes are embedded, and the benefits enduring
  • • Defining an IT Demand Plan to enable the company to meet its business and financial objectives. This will involve coordinating the identification and prioritization of required IT initiatives among various operating components and resolving conflicts with key business stakeholders
  • • Ensuring the requirements of the Region are fully represented and accounted for in the development of the global IS strategy
  • • Planning for, and the execution of, the global IS strategy within the US with respect to systems and network architecture and business process change
  • • Providing leadership in the management and operation of information systems and infrastructure, services and support functions
  • • Integrating and coordinating the development and implementation of IT programs arising from the Demand Plan
  • • Working with IT colleagues across the company on the development of policies and procedures for service, scheduling, problem management, data security, network security, availability and response times. Enforcing these policies in the North America

Key Relationships

In this role, the Director, IT will work closely with all levels of the functional departments (Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Sales), the IT team, the other IS teams in the company, and external partners and vendors.

Knowledge/Experience Requirements

Candidates must possess a combination of the following:

  • • Strong track record in IT project management in areas covering IT infrastructure and business systems. The systems projects should have included the delivery of significant business change.
  • • Strong proven technology background; the successful candidate will be technically strong, although he/she will be a business person first and a technologist second
  • • Global IT/IS implementation experience
  • • 15+ years of progressive IT experience in applications development, implementation and support experience with international accountability, including a consulting background
  • • 5+ years experience leading an IT function in international and geographically dispersed environments
  • • 5+ years experience as the top technology executive in a CPG and Alcohol Beverage environment with greater than $500M in annual revenue
  • • Ability to leverage outside resources for design and development to meet company roadmap objectives
  • • Experience developing and implementing tools for Sales, Marketing Effectiveness, CRM, Pricing Filing & Compliance, Customer Service and Finance along with Production and Distribution

Marketing Opportunities:

Division Marketing Director - Southeast (FL, GA, SC, VA)


Position Overview

The Division Marketing Director is a proven Marketing leader possessing strong Marketing and business acumen with a demonstrated history of providing/directing winning brand strategies and local market activation in order to achieve superior sales and brand performance in a significant area of Marketing responsibility.

He or she oversees the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for the Division, consistent with agreed-to brand strategies and priorities. This is accomplished in complete collaboration with Central Marketing team.

In this role the Division Marketing Director works with Distributor Marketing partners in the collaborative process of building brand market plans and consistently follows up to ensure flawless execution of agreed-to initiatives.

He or she assists/provides guidance in the allocation of Sales and Marketing resources in order to best achieve Division brand plans/objectives as well as build longer-term brand equity.

The DMD ensures proper prioritization of Division brand opportunities and oversees allocation of EQUAP, ANNAP, Cash, and distributor resources, by market, in order to maximize WGS profitability and brand equity, while, in a team fashion, supports Division efforts to achieve fiscal-year depletion and financial targets. He or she shares in the responsibility of making sure market & Division spending stays within agreed-to budgets.

The person ensures compliance of local programs with the specific legal/compliance constraints of the market, with brand standards and global brand identity, and with brand guidelines/strategies and collaborates with Central Marketing to develop fiscal-year brand strategies, as well as 5-year plan/brand strategy development.

The DMD leads the effort to ensure that the Division team and distributor/broker efforts are focused on appropriate consumer targets, accounts, vicinities, channels in order to achieve long-term objectives for WGS portfolio.

He or she maintains and analyzes market data regarding brand performance and prepares reports for WGS Marketing team and senior management, as appropriate.

The person participates in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with distributors/brokers in order to ensure WGS brand objectives are addressed and achieved; he or she guides the Marketing process throughout Division.

Additionally, the role provides coaching/education/training to Division team in order to develop brand building and consumer activation capabilities of Division team.

He or she also assists in the management of Division pricing in order to ensure that brand pricing guidelines are executed throughout Division. The DMD provides reporting on competitive activity and pricing compliance to Central Marketing, as required.

Key Responsibilities

Specific activities within this position include:

  • • Working with Division team in the development of business plans for covered markets and being accountable for the results of the business plan. Coordinating WGS brand vision/strategies and growth plans with the Division. Assisting in the pre-planning/budgeting of all WGS activity in the market, including volume planning, spending initiatives, and KPI objectives. Leading the market-planning collaborative process with WGS-dedicated Distributor/broker Marketing personnel
  • • Providing assistance to Division team in order to achieve WGS volume & financial targets and sell-through objectives (POS, merchandising, drink lists, brand promotion) in the market. Ensuring that programming, resources, and execution priorities are tailored to the market as well as targeted consumer and brand equity objectives. Monitoring Division/Brand performance and providing recommendations, as required, ensuring Division objectives are achieved. Routinely analyzing distributor/broker execution performance as well as gauging competitive activity in the market. Managing budgets so that spending stays within assigned budgets. Monitoring and tracking pricing to ensure brand pricing guidelines are executed throughout Division. Monitoring effectiveness of Marketing mix, making recommendations on adjustments needed to ensure investment efficiency
  • • Collaborating with Central Marketing to develop annual brand plans. Gaining alignment regarding brand strategies and market initiatives
  • • Reporting on market results, as well as changing market activity on a routine basis. Providing recommendations, if required, on market actions needed in order to ensure WGS plan achievement in the market. Providing market insight reporting to Central Marketing on a routine bases
  • • Leading Marketing skills training/education of Division team in order to build Marketing capabilities of Division and WGS-dedicated Distributor personnel (ongoing support and coaching)

  • • Minimum of 7-10 years in Consumer Products Marketing with significant exposure to brand-building activities

On-Premise District Manager - So. Florida


Position Overview

The On-Premise District Manager is responsible for managing market level sales and marketing activities/programs for on-premise channel, in conjunction with distributor/broker activities in order to achieve predetermined brand, volume, KPI (Key Performance Indicators) objectives. Specific focus is required regarding On-Premise distribution + feature drink/promotion/sell-through activities.

He or she manages all activities through distributor/broker organization, with emphasis on securing distributor/broker management commitments to WGS goals and initiatives. The On-Premise DM ensures that distributor/broker efforts are focused on appropriate accounts, vicinities, high marques (if appropriate) in order to achieve WGS long-term objectives.

In his or her role, the On-Premise DM maintains and analyzes market data regarding distributor performance and prepares reports for WGS management, as appropriate.

He or she is responsible for identifying and implementing On-Premise brand building activities for WGS growth brands in the market. The On-Premise District Manager also ensures that correct target list of accounts for WGS brand activation is established in collaboration with distributor/broker. The On-Premise DM provides education/training to distributor/broker sales forces, as well as key bartenders/wait staff, in order to advantage selling of WGS portfolio in the market.

He or she manages cash and ANNAP budgets appropriately in order to best position WGS for annual budget achievement and long-term development of WGS brands.

In addition, he or she implements/manages approved programming and promotion activity in key On-Premise accounts in the market.

Key Responsibilities

Specific activities within this position include:

  • • Working with distributor/broker management and WGS sales management to pre-plan all WGS activity in the market, including volume planning, spending initiatives, and KPI objectives. Securing distributor/broker management commitment to WGS goals and initiatives; managing distributor resources and obtaining disproportionate share of mind for WGS portfolio/growth brands
  • • Motivating and developing distributor/broker sales teams in order to achieve WGS volume targets and sell-through objectives (POS, merchandising, drink lists, brand promotion, staff training, menus, drink development) in the market
  • • Maintaining and analyzing market performance in order to ensure WGS goals are achieved. Analyzing routinely distributor/broker execution performance as well as gauge competitive activity in the market. Utilizing BI tools provided by WGS
  • • Managing On-Premise agency (if appropriate) and distributor/broker teams to leverage and ensuring flawless execution of all assigned/planned managed bar night/promotion activity in the market. Ensuring that promotion monies are effectively spent, maximizing value creation
  • • Reporting on market results, as well as changing market activity on a routine basis. Providing recommendations, if required, on market actions needed in order to ensure WGS plan achievement in the market
  • • Developing relationships with key members of the trade (On-Premise accounts: bartenders, decision makers, wait staff, etc) in order to develop WGS brands in the market. Gaining appropriate commitments to WGS initiatives
  • • Providing education/training, as required. Including the use of ambassador resources, as appropriate
